Neil Fusco

Meet Neil Fusco, a rider who knows exactly what it takes to rebuild, refocus, and come back stronger than ever.

Neil first found his love for racing back in 2016. From his very first laps, it was clear he had a natural drive for motocross and enduro riding. In 2017, he entered his first full season, officially making his debut in competitive racing. Even in his first year, Neil showed promise and determination, finishing 34th out of 65 riders despite only competing in 4 out of 6 rounds. Unfortunately, a heavy crash during one of his practice sessions sidelined him for the rest of the season.

The setback was tough. Like many riders who experience an early crash, Neil had to deal not only with the physical recovery but also with the mental challenge of getting his pace and confidence back. In 2018, he returned to the track ready to push again, but soon realized that his speed and rhythm were not quite where they used to be. Rather than forcing it, he made the decision to take a step back from racing to recover fully, rebuild his motivation, and find the fire again.

Fast forward to 2025, and that spark has well and truly returned. Neil is now preparing for his comeback season, focused on returning stronger and faster than ever before. His target is clear in where in 2026 Scottish Hare and Hound Championship he’s leaving nothing to chance.

Over the past months, Neil has been training hard with The GP Gym’s Motocross and Enduro performance programs. Our workouts have been designed to improve strength, stamina, cardio endurance, and core stability while tackling one of the toughest challenges every rider faces: arm pump.

Neil shared some great feedback about his training progress and results:

“The workouts have been excellent for getting me ready for my comeback season. Every time I get on the bike, I’m faster and feeling stronger. I used to get arm pump within the first 30 minutes, now it doesn’t kick in until around an hour and a half, which means I can get more fast laps in before fatigue sets in.”

That’s the kind of result we love to see. Through consistent training and structured motocross-specific workouts, Neil is building the strength and control needed to stay sharp through long sessions. Every gym session, every stretch, and every rep is helping him regain that confidence and pace he had before the crash.

The GP Gym is all about supporting riders like Neil who are determined to push their limits, overcome setbacks, and perform at their absolute best when it matters most.

Neil’s story is proof that with the right mindset, the right training, and the right support, a comeback is always possible. We’re proud to have him as part of The GP Gym family, and we cannot wait to see him back out on the start line in 2026, ready to show what hard work and dedication can do.

Keep an eye on his progress, because this comeback story is just getting started.
